I have been reading about glutathione IV treatments for slowing down or improving the symptoms of Parkinson’s. However, it only seems to be practiced in the alternative field. Has anyone had real experience with this treatment to validate it’s effectiveness? And safety?

This question appears twice. I refer you to Mags’ answer in the other question:

Addendum: your question really made me think. Yes, I knew of the use of glutathione in cancer supplemental treatment and I had heard of it mentioned for PD but not at an affordable cost. The average monthly cost for the IVs would be between $900.00 to $1,000.00 per month. And this is an out of pocket expense.
We are going to be trying sublingual glutathione with NAC and since milk thistle is already in the regimen, that will be taken at the same time because there is a synergistic relationship.
I do not have an answer on how this supplemental treatment will work. Ask me in a month or so. Had to order online since none of the local stores had the sublingual in stock.
People did feel that the IV treatments helped but had to discontinue them because they were so costly.
References are in the earlier answer to your same question.

Glutathione has already been used for years to treat people with cancer, Alzheimer’s and even Parkinson’s Disease. I know a few people in the US who have remarkably gained new strength and life after some periods of Glutathione treatment.

There are also available studies you can find online and even on youtube

Take care
