How deep into your brain must an object go to kill you?

I heard that people only use about 8% of their brains. Does that mean that the other 92% of your brain serves no purpose but to just waste matter? So, you must be able to impale it, right? I’ve been researching this for a while, because I want to get an item shoved into my head and come out alive. Any information would be helpful.

It’s really not a question of how deep it’s where. Digging into some places in the brain will only result in loss of speech, vision, or muscle control. Hit another spot and you forget everything you ever knew. Yet another and you die.

The 8% – 10% theory is talking about cognitive ability, thinking. Shoving anything into your brain is suicidal. Unless you’re going for the 2007 Darwin Award try cultivating your intellect to use more of tht gray matter.

I don’t think it as to get that far to kill you i mean everything in the brain kind of control everything that goes on in the whole body and if some thing happen to the brain it will affect the whole body.
