Not to sound negative, but with the current state of medical research I believe no cures for anything are forthcoming. The current medical establishment is based on health management through pharmacology, rather than cure. If you find a cure, people won’t need the drugs and the pharmaceutical industry as well as many others would crumble. Unfortunately this is a trap and one of the main reasons for escalating costs within the health care industry. Rather than thinking about humanity and our needs, usually the base is the bottom line, and how they can profit from our illness. If this is not true then why is the insurance industry tied in so tightly with the medical industry. If there is no money to be made, do you thing the insurance criminals would be involved. Sorry, but I consider all businesses that seek to profit from the misfortunes of others to be criminal in nature. Just as those who create an artificial need and force the public to live with it. My apologies for the rant.
No, Parkinson’s disease cannot be cured.
I’m not sure if it’s reversible or curable, although I would think that with some radical diet changes it could be. Below is a link to an article which talks about treatments – inlcuding alternative treatment.
No its not actually possible to cure Parkinson’s, however it can be made manageable with the help of drugs and a good diet
No. If it could be done, it would be. Each case is different, and some can be helped (not cured) with medicine, but not all.
There is no cure for Parkinson’s disease but there are things to help ease the symptoms of it. For example, Deep Brain Stimulation, a brain surgery, can help ease rigidity, tremor, slowed movement, and walking problems. Currently it is being offered to those who are not responding well to PD medications. The outcome of DBS surgery is different for each person but most people find that their symptoms are greatly reduced after surgery. The surgery can help reduce side effects of PD medications such as dyskinesias too.
No, but there was someone healed of it by Jesus in Bournemouth at the Meet Jesus gathering earlier this year.
Parkinson’s Disease is incurable right now. As with many other diseases, though, this does not mean it is not possible to cure it in the future.
this disease is caused by decrease or total loss of sustantia nigra in the brain, this stuff produces dopamine, so, any guy with parkinson can be managed, (but not cured) with dopamine supplements, cos, brain cells dont regenerate when they die.
Wow Tom, you are seriously paranoid. What about those nobel wannabes out there working their ass off to find cures (if only for their own sakes)?
What I think hampers finding cures more are the animal rights extremist. And what winds me up is when they get ill they don’t stick to their moral values and die, but they take those drugs that’ll save their life, forgetting all their terroristic efforts to prevent those very same drugs from being produced.
We can’t cure Idiopathic Parkinson’s disease because no one knows why or how to stop the dopaminergic neurons from dying off.
After reading your question several times, I assume you have Parkingson’s, or dyslexia.
