I have looked but can no longer find anything about after-stroke symptoms. and can’t find much on parkinson’s symptoms. can anyone tell me if there are any similarities like tremors, or can help me find a place on the web that might tell me?

Look up "basal ganglia stroke".
The basal ganglia contain the caudate nucleus and the substantia nigra. Both structures’ neurotransmitter deficits are responsible for the symptoms of Parkinson’s. If there is a stroke or injury to the area, there will be Parkinsonian symptoms.
Try the NINDS website. You may also want to do a search on Binswanger’s disease, which has a vascular etiology but can have some features of Parkinson’s disease. There may be many other possible causes, but this may be a good start for you. Best of luck!
