Stem Cell Treatment – Parkinson’s Disease

While the world was not looking, Russians implemented stem cell treatments for Diabetes, MS, Parkinsons within their public health care system under the Department of Health. Their impressive track record of successful cases includes: – Diabetes 1 & 2 – 30000 cases (not a mistake!); – Parkinsons – 300 cases; – MS – 200 cases. The program was created at the Poltava Medical Academy (a real university), they use either autocells or stem cells derived from placenta. The patient shown in the clip developed 2 cases of PD – first on the right side, then after 2.5 years on the left side. Both were successfully treated with stem cells. Please note this is NOT one of those fly-by-night Asian clinics, but a real university. Costs are much more affordable, too. More info and contact for inquiries: www.reussinternational.com .
This new cancer alternative treatment applies some of the basics of Chinese medicine to drop back or eliminate the harmful side effects
The medical community has taken a giant step forward in the fight against cancer with the revolutionary new gene therapy drug for cancer, named Gendicine. Gendicine is the world’s first approved drug for gene therapy for cancer. It was approved by the State FDA (Food and Drug Administration) of China in 2003. Since then, more than thousand patients from all over the world came to Beijing, to China’s Yanhua Phoenix Hospital and to Haidian Hospital to get the treatment with Gendicine for their cancer.
Dr. Li Dinggang, The head of Phoenix Hospital’s International Cancer Treatment Center is the person behind the success of both hospitals. Dr. Li is a Chinese nationalist who trained at Johns Hopkins University in the US. He has been working together with SiBiono, Gendicine’s development and manufacturing company, since 1997. During that time, Dr. Li was the head of both hospitals’ expansive International Cancer Treatment Centres. Dr. Li drew in thousands of patients looking for an alternative cancer treatment through Gene therapy.
Fighting cancer with Gene therapy is an integrative process involving multiple methods of treatment. Gene therapy for cancer has been found to be most effective when it is used together with the traditional cancer treatments, such as chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery, and more advanced procedures like hyperthermia and cryotherapy.
The doctors at the Yanhua Phoenix Hospital take it one step further: they take in alternative treatments in the process, especially the concepts of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM).
This new cancer alternative treatment applies some of the basics of Chinese medicine to drop back or eliminate the harmful side effects. These side effects are usually generated by the traditional cancer treatments, primarily chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Acupuncture, massage and herbal medicines have shown to reduce the nausea and vomiting, which are often caused by chemotherapy, as well as the chronic fatigue that can be so crippling to those undergoing any form of treatment for cancer.
Many cancer patients come to China as a last option; funding, public support and government approval of Gene therapy research has been stalling in the West in recent years. On the contrary, China’s federal government has been pouring money into research and development for new cancer treatments since the 1990’s.
Not only government funding makes China ideal for the creation of new cancer-fighting drugs. More than 2 million Chinese are diagnosed with cancer every year – more than anyplace else in the world. With so many people needing treatment, clinical trials are inexpensive, costing about one-tenth the price of similar trials performed in the US.
The results of the trials and succeeding treatments using integrative gene therapy have proven to be more positive for Chinese patients than for foreigners. Dr. Li credits this to the fact that many of his Chinese patients come to him during the early stages of their cancer treatment, whereas most of his international patients look to him as a last option. “The earlier the diagnosis and the treatment, the better the results will be,” he said. “No doubt, cancer patients at the early stage will get better results from the comprehensive treatment.”
Marco has undergone stem cell treatment at Tiantan Puhua Hospital in Beijing, China. She is one of many patients, who had parkinson treatment and want to tell the world how they benefit from it.

Question by joe friday’s grrl: Has Michael J. Fox been undergoing some special treatment to improve his Parkinson’s disease symptoms?
I’m watching a program featuring Michael J. Fox, filmed this year, and I think he’s the producer as well. It’ about optimism. I am completely amazed and so glad to see his improved appearance. There is hardly any of the shakiness, uncontrolled movement, and difficulty speaking he’s had for several years! I haven’t seen him on TV for quite a while, but always thought Parkinson’s was a condition that always gets progressively worse. His condition in this program almost seems to be reversed.

This man had parkinsons on the right side of the body, got OK after stem cell treatment – Russian titles say ‘one month after’ and ’3 months after’. Some 2.5 years later he developed PD on the left side, was treated again and you can see the results. There are hundreds of similar cases at the medical academy in Poltava, Russia. Pls send me a message asap if your Father could use a similar help!
Can you maybe post the same video with english subtitles …. it is hard to beleive that this man had parkinsons and is now walking free like this . MY father was diagnosed with parkinsons about 11 months ago . And he is doing not very good …. cannot walk and talk … please let me know more info if you can I would appreciate this very much.

I do scientific (not medical) research on the proteins which are contained in this supplement, and there is no reason that this product, a calcium-binding protein, will help you.
As they are legally required to say on their own web site: “This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.” Their “research” consists of cells in a culture dish and has no relation to human mental acuity. In the past, the creators have tried to mislead people into thinking that this is the jellyfish protein that won the Nobel Prize in 2008 (it’s not). The lies do not end there: the “testimonials” on their site come from easily found stock photos (unless the same people are also fluent in French and also concerned about Italian osteopathy — aah, the irony).
If you ingested EDTA or another calcium-binding chemical, it would be more effective at pulling calcium from your bloodstream than this protein. Proteins will not cross the blood-brain barrier, and they will largely be digested before leaving your system, releasing any calcium they might have bound. Even if this product *did* work to remove calcium, in the age groups that they are targeting, you should probably be taking calcium *supplements* and not trying to leach it out of your system. My grandfather died of complications from a broken hip, and he is not the only one.
Please do not be fooled.

may save your aging brain. And who better than an aging internist to take a keen interest in getting all body parts to the finish line intact? I paid particular attention, then, when I came across this new concept in neuroprotection.
Calcium is, as we know, a good thing. In particular, it holds up our joints and activates our nerves. When neurons are stimulated by a passing impulse via a transmitting molecule called glutamate, they open up their pores and let the calcium trickle in. Not pour in, mind you, just trickle. If they get over-goosed with glutamate, a situation called excitoxicity, too much calcium enters the neuron which upsets it unto death.
Enter aequorin. Scientists have long called on the jellyfish protein as a ‘calcium reporter.’ In other words, add aequorin to a cell preparation in a laboratory, the aequorin hooks up with the calcium, and bingo! that which is calcium-laden within the cell lights up like a jellyfish.
Mark Underwood of Quincy Bioscience figured out that giving aequorin to rats through the golden months of their lives helped them hang onto the ability to perform tricks despite their advancing age. Rats normally get less tricky as they age because they lose their calcium-binding proteins which allows free calcium to ravage their brains while their tricks leak out. But rats plus jellyfish protein equals peak performance at mazes and bells throughout their lifespan.
I was pleased to recently hear that Prevagen was now available to humans. I fully expected a product that I would take because it would protect me against losing my marbles on down the road but which would not particularly change my day-to-day functioning. To my surprise, not only did Prevagen clear my head of early morning fogs and the urge to nap after lunch, by day three, a longstanding tremor in my left arm was nearly gone. The only downside I’ve noted with the use of Prevagen is that it interferes with the soundness of my sleep.

Rating:
I have just completed 30 days of Prevagen and have thus emptied the bottle. I am sorry to say that the product was completely and utterly ineffective. So ineffective I cannot even remember the reasons why I was persuaded that it would work. My short term memory is just as bad if not worse than when I started. I did not expect that it would cure my memory problem completely but I did expect some good benefit. Consequently, I’m really disapointed.
There was no way to rate this item on your scale but from my review it should be obvious. I’m not sure why Amazon says I rate it a 2.
I hope either the product or my review helps someone else.

I have been using Prevagen for almost two months and am very happy to report that:
1) My knees have stopped aching. I have tried glucosamine and did not notice a difference but with Prevagen my knee pain was at least 80& gone within the first week. My back and neck also quit aching. I have not felt the need for a chiropractor since taking the product.
2) I’m sleeping much better. Previously I was getting up three or four times a night. Now I get up maybe once a night and wake up in the morning feeling well rested.
3) My bruised hands returned to normal in a period of a few days where previously the bruises had been there for weeks.
4) I feel better overall mentally, seem to think clearer and am better able to handle stress.
This product is the real thing and I highly recommend it.

The science is completely unproven. The small study they tout had a small sample set (56). The “study” was paid for by the company and is not double blind – no idea if a placebo would have similar effect. If this stuff works the company should be happy to provide studies with clear scientific methodology.
The small rodent study is also unclear as to scientific conclusions as they tell you that more brains cells survive, but its unclear if that is statistically significant or repeatable. If rodent brain cells “survive longer” does that automatically imply that humans will become smarter by consuming this? I do not believe so, its a huge leap of logic – and unproven.
Its also quite interesting that nearly all the 5 star reviews are from reviewers that don’t show up on amazon.com reviews anywhere else. Apparently those folks don’t review any of the wonderful books on amazon.com… I find that a bit suspicious.
Please consider carefully before purchasing. Please consider the “science” or lack thereof.
Thanks.
Good observation.
With the medications Mr Fox takes for Parkinson’s disease there are “on” times and “off” times. This means that when the medication’s effects begin to wear off, he begins to show more symptoms of the disease.
During the period of time when he was testifying about Parkinson’s Disease research before a Senate subcommittee and other times when he was appearing on television of behalf of PD or stumping for candidates who supported various issues related to research such as ESC, he often appeared in an “off” time. He has acknowledged that.

During the filming as he traveled around the world, he was under the stress any traveller or film producer endures and when he was being filmed, he wanted to appear at his best.

One of the problems with certain very effective medications for PD is that they themselves begin to not only lose effectiveness in controlling symptoms but they also can bring about more symptoms – usually dystonias – as they begin to lose effectiveness.
Michael J Fox is a remarkable man – larger than life in both his enthusiasm for living and the amazing things that he is making happen with the Michael J Fox Foundation.
You are correct, the disease is progressive. Progression varies from patient to patient. There is no pat answer as even symptoms vary from patient to patient. I think that one of the reasons that Mr Fox has done so “well” is his inate character and philosophy of life. Having a sense of humor in the face of this disease is vital.
By the way, did you see him on Rescue Me? He made several appearances and I thought his acting was better than ever.
It is also possible that he has made some adjustments in medication, supplements, exercise and diet recently. Changes such as these can also bring about symptom appearance reduction – but alas not a disease reversal.
